Yes that’s right…it’s a heavy thruster day. Seven sets of one! Partner up and prepare to move some heavy loads!
Tomorrow is a fairly ‘regular day’ at the gym other than the addition of open gym time – we have blocked off an afternoon chunk for open gym from 1pm-6pm, however, there is NO open gym past 6pm tomorrow night! Don’t worry, we will be back to regular hours after New Years! Just be sure to check Zen Planner for hours until January 3rd! Thanks for your understanding over the holidays.
(a) 5min Mobilize/Stabilize Hips & Shoulders
(b) 6min EMOM – Front Squat + Press + Push Press + Thruster
*this is with barbell only, adding weight as you go but stay moderate
(c) Thruster 8-6-4-2 working to a heavy last set of 2
Every 3mins, perform ONE thruster x 7 rounds!

*ideally we want you working over 80% of your 1RM for ALL 7 reps (same weight for every round)
