Well first of all – a huge shout out to those that came last night after all the big Thanksgiving festivities! I know Thanksgiving Monday is tough for most with so much going on so it was great to see all the faces – new and old ;)
I thought I would share a fun 45 second video with you, courtesy of CrossFit Headquarters which explains the “intensity” side of CrossFit in simple terms. Don’t forget, the CrossFit prescription IS “constantly varied, high-intensity, functional movement.” Again, it’s all about what you put into it. For those that have moved out of the Basics and into the regular WOD classes, as you continue to improve on form and technique, we will continue to push you a little bit further past your limits and perhaps start to add some weight. For example, mastering the squat comes first, THEN we add the weight. The improvement we have seen from all of you over the last 4 weeks is amazing….and just think, it will only get better!
